FLY is an innovative health and fitness program.
Since fitness is based on both physical activity
and a healthy, well-rounded diet, our curriculum
alternates instruction in strength conditioning,
aerobics, endurance, flexibility, and balance
with hands-on nutritional experiences.
Students are encouraged to personalize and
practice new habits and skills through the
instruction of fitness and nutrition
professionals. As they incorporate what they
learn, they experience the difference in their
own bodies and are motivated to improve their
FLY partners with each community’s resources to
create supportive, appealing environments in
which to equip and educate youth. Everyone
benefits as students find support from local
trainers, chefs and retail food establishments.
